TAFE Western has launched its new and improved Changing Lives magazine.
The annual magazine features successful local students and teachers, showcasing some of western NSW’s most inspiring individuals.
TAFE Western Institute Director Kate Baxter said the fourth edition of Changing Lives was vastly different to those released previously.
“The previous three Changing Lives magazines had been really successful, but we thought that it was time for a change,” Ms Baxter said.
“This year’s edition is a lot more colourful, features more photographs and is a lot more user-friendly.
“Most importantly it’s a terrific read and features some incredible people that are achieving great things in the classroom in their careers and in their local communities.”
Some of the success stories featured in the 2014 Changing Lives magazine include iSmile student Jade Beetson, TAFE Western’s Most Outstanding Graduate Margaret Stewart, IPROWD graduate and TVET Student of the Year Talisha Kuras, teachers Susan Bird and Andrea Lovell and highly successful students Ella Miller and Jim D’Elboux – just to name a few.
Ms Baxter said Changing Lives will be distributed in the local communities of TAFE Western’s 24 colleges throughout western NSW.
