THRILLED: TAFE Western's business excellence for education and training in China has been recognised in the AustCham Australia-China 2016 Business Awards.
TAFE Western is thrilled to announce it has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious AustCham Westpac Australia-China 2016 Business Awards.
TAFE Western International Projects Officer Amber Mastrangeli said TAFE Western had been shortlisted as a finalist in the Business Excellence Award for Education and Training category.
“To be recognised Australia-wide as an organisation that has demonstrated commercial success in Greater China in the field of education and training over the past year is very satisfying and a great result for the organisation,” Ms Mastrangeli said.
“I believe it’s recognition for our international strategy and our commitment to giving students international, industry-specific study opportunities overseas.”
Ms Mastrangeli said since 2015, 20 TAFE Western students from a number of courses including Early Childhood and Hospitality, have travelled to China, with a further 40 places available this year.
“TAFE Western has a clear and concise plan to offer a small number of niche educational products in the Chinese market and to be acknowledged for our ability to meet industry needs for relevant, cost effective training is something we are very proud of,” Ms Mastrangeli said.
Winners of the AustCham Westpac Australia-China 2016 Business Awards will be announced on April 13 in Shanghai.
