TAFE NSW Cowra Customer Service Officer Linley Seears has been acknowledged for her excellence and dedication to the organisation throughout 2017, winning a prestigious Individual Excellence Award at a special ceremony in Orange on Friday.
Each year Regional General Manager Kate Baxter hand picks several extraordinary staff members from the West Region for acknowledgement, recognising their hard work, commitment to their students and customers, and ability to excel in the Vocational Education Training (VET) sector.
“Staff at TAFE NSW in Cowra and across NSW continue to flourish in a busy environment and it was an absolute pleasure to pay tribute to Linley who achieved a great deal in 2017,” Ms Baxter said.
“Linley is an exemplary Customer Service Officer in the Tourism and Hospitality section who goes above and beyond. She is a dedicated professional and caring staff member who exemplifies excellence in helping students achieve their desired outcomes.”
Linley was nominated for the award by TAFE NSW Tourism and Hospitality Head Teacher Dianne Johnson, who said; “Linley is able to work with anyone. She is very task focused, yet is able to achieve results with a very bright and cheerful manner, always putting the customer or student first.”
