How will I study?
Learners may enrol into this course anytime and may complete this course through external study over 36 weeks. Once payment is received or VET Student Loan arranged, the facilitator will instruct learners on accessing our online sites and give them the tools to help complete this course successfully.
If you would like to gain study experience overseas then students enrolled in this course may have the opportunity to go on a 2-week study program through the TAFE Western Outbound Mobility Program.

This course is designed to help learners further their talents in applying quality auditing skills and knowledge and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work or the work of a team. It is an ideal course for learners who would like to have their existing skills recognised or upgraded or who would like to progress in the workplace as quality assurance managers, quality facilitators, quality and improvement consultants or service quality system support analysts.
Once learners have successfully completed this course they will receive a nationally recognised qualification in BSB51615 - Diploma in Quality Auditing.
Units of competence in this qualification will give them the skills for:
- Identifying the framework of a quality management system aligned to International Standards
- Initiating and leading a quality management system audit
- Reporting the findings on a quality management system audit within a report
This program includes activities which are to be completed in your own time.

What will I pay?
A VET student loan may be available to eligible students to cover some or all of their course fees. More information will be made available closer to your enrolment.
The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.
TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): Up to $2,850.00 (GST free).
The fee that is displayed is the price for a student completing their second qualification and meeting eligibility criteria. The fee you pay may be lower depending on your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, a concession or an exemption. In some cases there are limited government subsidised places available.
Please contact your nearest TAFE Western campus or call us on 1300 823 393 for a personal fee assessment and to find out if you are eligible for a government subsidised place. If you do not gain a subsidised place you may be able to enrol and pay the non-government subsidised fee.
A payment must be made towards your course fee (if applicable) at the time you enrol or your place in the class will not be confirmed and you will not be able to access any of your learning resources.
Study Now, Pay Later
VET Student Loans commenced on 1 January 2017, replacing the VET FEE-HELP scheme, which ceased on 31 December 2016. The new student loans program gives eligible students access to quality higher level VET qualifications, particularly those students who could not otherwise afford to pay upfront.
