Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

About the Course

This course is for workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of
situations, in community and workplace settings.

You will learn how to respond to an emergency situation, perform CPR procedures
and communicate details of the incident.

When you finish this course you can undertake further First Aid training in
other first aid related occupational courses. Advanced standing may be granted
in courses where providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation in a community or a
workplace setting is part of the course.

ENROLLING IN FIRST AID UNITS OF COMPETENCY
------------------------------------------
If you are seeking to enrol in a First Aid unit of competency you are
advised that to complete the unit you must be able to perform basic life
support skills, for example control bleeding and perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR). If you have a disability that would prevent you from
performing required basic life support skills you are advised that you will
not be able to achieve the unit of competency.
