Cisco CCNA R&S 1 - CCENT Preparation Stage 1
About the Course
This course provides you with the skills and knowledge associated with gaining your CCENT Industry level Certification as a foundational step in gaining your full CCNA R&S (Routing and Switching) certification. You will be working with the international Cisco Network Academy materials online but facilitated and led by a qualified NetAcad Instructor.
The course is the first of two preparing you towards the CCENT and together they may provide advanced standing into both the Certificate IV in IT Networking and the Diploma of IT Networking offered through TAFE Western.

How will I study?
For successful completion of this course you will need:
- Commitment to online and self-directed study, able to follow provided timetable of study
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours of study per week part time, 18 hours per week full time.
- TAFE West conditions of entry to this course are the ability to work independently.
This course is delivered and assessed in conjunction with the Cisco Networking Academy. You will be working with the International Cisco Network Academy materials online but facilitated and led by a qualified NetAcad Instructor.

When will I study?
Class attendance is Evening
Attendance is via online and self-directed study. Online video conferencing session are provided one evening per week, attendance is recommended. Evening to be advised.
Course length: 10 hours per week for 18 Weeks
What will I pay?
The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.
TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): $0 per course - no enrolment fee applicable for this course
Please contact your nearest TAFE Western campus or call us on 1300 823 393 for a personal fee assessment and to find out if you are eligible for a government subsidised place. If you do not gain a subsidised place you may be able to enrol and pay the non-government subsidised fee.
A payment must be made towards your course fee (if applicable) at the time you enrol or your place in the class will not be confirmed and you will not be able to access any of your learning resources.
