About the Course

This course provides the skills and knowledge required for the operation of an elevating work platform (over 11m) - for Boom Type Elevating Work Platforms only - in preparation for the WorkCover National Assessment (Wp).

You will complete theory and practical skills that are required to prepare you for SafeWork NSW assessment. This course is for operators who require training as preparation for SafeWork NSW National Assessment (WP). Please note: this course is aimed at the use of Boom Type Elevating Work Platforms only -not Scissor Lifts. Topics covered include:

• Job planning/preparation
• Routine checks of EWP/hydraulic platform
• Locate equipment in place for work application
• Elevate platform to work location
• Lower platform & shut down
• Clean up on completion of job

Class attendance is Part time

Attendance is 3 consecutive 8 hour days.

Course length: 24 hours per week for 1 Week

Non-Government subsidised fee: $900.00 per course (GST free). There are no fee exemptions, concessions or subsidies available for this option. Your tuition fee includes all essential study materials. Extra study resources may be available to enhance your learning and will attract an additional charge.
