There are no essential entry requirements for this course.

Entrants would benefit from ACSF level 2 language, literacy and numeracy levels sufficient to read and interpret simple documents and and prepare simple reports.

How will I study?

Delivery Location: Bourke Connected Learning Centre

Studying at a TAFE NSW Connected Learning Centre means that you don’t have to leave your local community to get a first rate education and access elite training, teachers and support services.
Connected Learning Centres are custom designed to utilise modern technologies, simulations and virtual reality experiences to offer you a wider range of choices, more accessible, practical training and flexible learning opportunities. Students can access work booths, group learning rooms, a computer hub, print shop, tech-bar, media lounge, and learning support centre and a creative space to work on ideas for the future.

For successful completion of this course you must attend class everyday that class is scheduled and you must have the ability to work independantly as required.

You will be required to attend class 1 or 2 days for 5 hours each day. Attendance is at TAFE NSW Bourke , Connected Learning Centre, 48 Oxley Street, Bourke.

How will I study?

For this mixed mode course, you will undertake your learning and assessment in a connected classroom at either Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin or Lake Cargelligo College on Monday and Tuesday from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm, and in a learning centre for a further 2 days at either Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin or Lake Cargelligo from 9.00 am - 3.00 pm as indicated in the Attendance Text above. This program includes activities which are to be completed in your own time.

If you are between 15 and 17 years old and do not have your Record of School Achievement (RoSA), you must apply for approval to enrol at TAFE NSW. You must talk with your school and submit your application through your school. TAFE NSW does not have an obligation to approve your enrolment.

Students undertaking this full-time mixed-mode course will need to commit to attending either Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin or Lake Cargelligo College on Monday and Tuesday from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm and:

- Forbes on Thursday and Friday from 9.00 am - 3.00 pm
