As 2015 draws to a close, now’s the perfect time to consider enrolling in one of the many exciting courses available next year at TAFE Western in Wellington.
College Team Leader Adam Peckham is inviting the community to find out more at the Wellington College Gawaymbanha Dhu (Welcome Day) on Thursday, December 3.
“Whether you are a school leaver assessing your options, a worker looking to upskill or take an entirely new career direction, TAFE Western has options to cater for everyone,” Mr Peckham said.
“The Wellington College Welcome Day is all about discovering what you can do at TAFE and I’m encouraging everyone to come on down and say hello.”
Mr Peckham said some of the exciting career options available at TAFE Western Wellington College included agriculture and horticulture; business administration; construction and earthworks hospitality; aged care; early childhood education; carpentry and joinery plus many more.
“Not only will we have industry experts on hand to address any questions you may have, including advice on courses, mobile learning options and much more, but the Welcome Day will offer prospective students a first-hand look at TAFE Western’s state-of-the-art learning facilities,” Mr Peckham said.
“The Welcome Day will be held from 11am to 2pm and is open to absolutely everyone, with a free sausage sizzle and live music just some of the highlights of what I expect will be a very informative, casual get together.”
