TAFE Western will launch its strategic plan on Friday, August 14, in Parkes.
Institute Director Kate Baxter believes the 2015-2018 Strategic Plan will guide TAFE Western through a significant period of change.
“Over many years TAFE Western has met the challenges of operating across a large geographical area, through finding innovative and creative solutions to the issues which have confronted us,” she said in the Strategic Plan.
“In the Strategic Plan you will see that TAFE Western will continue to value this approach. We will also continue our strong focus on our customers and the communities of western NSW and our previous commitment to Aboriginal education continues in this plan.
“Within the changing VET environment we are also seeing a change in our customers’ expectations.
“We are constantly re-evaluating the services and experience our customers receive while at the same time we will focus on building a sustainable business.”
All TAFE Western staff are invited to participate in the official launch by video conference on August 14 at 12.30pm. VMR number for dial in is: 600605524.
