The 2017 TAFE Western Aboriginal TVET Student of the Year is Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation student Jeramiah Carter.
Jeramiah demonstrated a commitment to his studies that was second-to-none, which helped him complete a Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation In 2016 with distinction.
During his time at TAFE, Jeramiah was very quick to understand automotive concepts, skillfully putting them into practical participation during lessons.
He was not only one of the most talented students in the class, he was someone who was keen to see his classmates succeed – going above and beyond to assist them with their work whenever possible.
Jeramiah’s teachers described him as hard working and an inspiration to fellow Aboriginal students at Nyngan High School, as well as to Aboriginal people in his local community.
Well done Jeramiah.
“Jeramiah is a high achiever who made very good progress academically. He took his learning very seriously and could always be relied upon to work consistently and enthusiastically.” – Paul Chaseling.
