This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use a range of well-developed operational skills and knowledge of industry operations to complete work activities. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in holiday parks and resorts as a specialist in front office, housekeeping or grounds maintenance, or a multi-skilled worker across different operational areas
Possible job titles include:
- grounds person

How will I study?
This qualification provides a pathway to work in the tourism industry sales and operational department Visitor information sector, also sales and product development area.
While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, TAFE NSW conditions of entry to this course are that students:
- Demonstrate an aptitude towards the qualification
- Show a willingness to participate in an online study environment
- Have the ability to work independently
You will need access to:
- Good internet service and computer
- Use software to create, save and edit documents
- Upload files

When will I study?
This course is delivered Online
Class attendance is Part time
Course content is delivered on the TAFE NSW online learning website. Your teacher will provide you with additional support online, over the phone or via email. This program includes activities which are to be completed in your own time.
Course length: 36 Weeks
What will I pay?
A course related materials fee of $285 applies to this course which is for learner resources.
The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.
TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): Up to $2,550.00 per course (GST free).
The fee that is displayed is the price for a student completing their second qualification and meeting eligibility criteria. The fee you pay may be lower depending on your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, a concession or an exemption. In some cases there are limited government subsidised places available.
Please contact your nearest TAFE Western campus or call us on 1300 823 393 for a personal fee assessment and to find out if you are eligible for a government subsidised place. If you do not gain a subsidised place you may be able to enrol and pay the non-government subsidised fee.
A payment must be made towards your course fee (if applicable) at the time you enrol or your place in the class will not be confirmed and you will not be able to access any of your learning resources.
There is an additional cost for Materials of $285.00.
