About the Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

How will I study?

If you want to develop the knowledge and skills to work in senior or strategic management across a range of business and organisational settings, this is the course for you.

You will have significant work experience, some of it at line manager level, and be in or wish to move into a role with senior or managerial responsibilities. The course will prepare you to manage the work of others, a department or undertake specialised roles to provide strategic leadership. When you complete this qualification you will have the skills to work in a wide range of business management roles at a strategic level.

When will I study?

Class attendance is Part time

This course is offered as monthly workshops over a 12 month period. Please contact us for a program.

Course length: 2 hours per week for 18 Months

Start Date: 16 February 2018
End Date: 16 August 2019

What will I pay?

A VET student loan may be available to eligible students to cover some or all of their course fees. More information will be made available closer to your enrolment. Your application will now be assessed and we will let you know the outcome. If you indicated you would like a VET Student Loan we will be in touch with you soon to assess your eligibility.

The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.

TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): Up to $2,910.00 (GST free).

The fee that is displayed is the price for a student completing their second qualification and meeting eligibility criteria. The fee you pay may be lower depending on your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, a concession or an exemption. In some cases there are limited government subsidised places available.
