About the Course

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to develop macros and templates for clients, customise packaged software and advanced features of MS Office applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. It applies to individuals working in an office environment who achieve a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced computer user, and who support software application activities in the workplace.

How will I study?

This course is ideal for learners who wish to increase their knowledge, skills productivity using Microsoft Office Applications. Students will learn how to write Macros and Visual Basic.

While there are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, TAFE Western conditions of entry to this course are:• Must have basic computer skills, navigate the Windows operating systems efficiently, manage files and folders effectively• Applications program experience is essential, Commitment to online and self-directed study- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours of study per week

This program includes activities which are to be completed in your own time.

Class attendance is Evening

Attendance is one evening per week – 6:00pm – 9:00pm for 16 weeks

Course length: 3 hours per week for 16 Weeks every Tuesday

Classes start at 6:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM
Start Date: 2 August 2017
End Date: 30 November 2017

What will I pay?

The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.

TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): $0 per course - no enrolment fee applicable for this course
