About the Course

This course provides the skills and knowledge to operate a personal computer, use simple word processing and communicate in the workplace.
This course covers how to operate a personal computer, use simple word processing by using Microsoft Word and communication in the workplace.
This course has been designed with an emphasis on practical training, and the course will benefit you if you are seeking employment opportunities as an administrative assistant, clerical worker, office junior, word processor, office clerk or receptionist.

Where can I study?

Further Study

Students can then enrol into the Certificate II in Business to develop more administrative skills. The completed units in the Introduction to the Office Environment will count towards course completion in the Certificate II in Business.

Class attendance is Part time

This course is delivered in a classroom at Cowra TAFE campus on Thursday mornings from 9.00 am - 12.00 pm for one semester.

Course length: 3 hours per week for 18 Weeks every Thursday

Classes start at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM
Start Date: 8 February 2018
End Date: 28 June 2018

TAFE NSW Government-subsidised fee (for eligible students): $0 per course - no enrolment fee applicable for this course
