This course covers interpreting and applying medical terminology, preparing and processing medical accounts, maintaining patient records; applying the principles of confidentially, privacy and security in a medical environment and controlling stocks and supplies.
This course has been designed with an emphasis on practical training, and the course will benefit you if you are seeking employment opportunities as an administrative officer, medical receptionist or medical administrator in medical centres or hospitals.
Students can enrol in the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) to develop intermediate computing and administrative skills. The completed units in the Medical Pack will count towards course completion in the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical).

How will I study?
How would you like to gain valuable administrative and medical skills to be able to work in a medical practice? The units in this Statement of Attainment are part of the Nationally recognised qualification in BSB31115 - Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical). You will be able to apply for positions in the fields of medical reception and administrative positions in hospitals or clinics.

After completing this Statement of Attainment you may decide to complete the remaining units to attain BSB31115 Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical).

This course is offered through blended delivery - online learning, resources, email and telephone contact. Enrol anytime. Students may complete this course from home over 18 weeks.
Course length: 18 Weeks
What will I pay?
Once your enrolment fee (or instalment) has been paid your facilitator will instruct you on accessing our online sites and give you the tools to help you to complete your course successfully.
The amount you pay will depend on your individual circumstances.
