TAFE Western’s most outstanding staff for 2016 were recognised at the organisation’s prestigious Institute Director’s Awards last night.
Acting Institute Director Adam Bennett said the awards, which were presented at the state-of-the-art Mudgee Learning Resource Hub, helped acknowledge the organisation’s exceptional staff who have excelled in delivering TAFE Western’s key business principles over the past 12 months.
“Staff at TAFE Western continue to thrive in a busy environment and it was an absolute pleasure to present 11 individuals and four teams with Institute Director’s Awards – small recognition for their ongoing efforts which ensure we remain the biggest and best provider of education and training solutions in western NSW,” Mr Bennett said.
“Selecting this year’s winners was again a very difficult task, with the quality of nominees outstanding.
“Each winner thoroughly deserves recognition for demonstrating a strong commitment to meeting our key business principles – ensuring exceptional customer service, improving customer responsiveness, maintaining quality provision and ensuring our students receive value for money - as set out in our 2015-18 Strategic Plan.”
