TAFE NSW West region is thrilled to announce that nine students studying at TAFE in the central west have been announced as finalists in the 2017 NSW Training Awards.
Regional Manager Training Services NSW Tony Aumuller made the announcement last week, with the following TAFE NSW students making the shortlist of finalists:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have nine of our best students recognised as finalists in these prestigious awards which celebrate students’ excellence and achievements,” TAFE NSW Regional General Manager Kate Baxter said.
“Every one of our finalists has excelled in and out of the classroom at TAFE and I’d like to wish everyone the very best of luck.”
Mr Aumuller said the selection process was a difficult one because of the quality submissions and congratulated all the finalists.
“This year has been another unbelievable year. I have been involved in these regional training awards for many years and the quality of the candidates and finalists is again simply outstanding," he said.
"The finalists will now be judged at the regional awards event in Orange on June 16. The winners from that night will go through to represent our region at the state finals in Sydney."
