TAFE Western Institute Director Kate Baxter last night congratulated 13 individuals and six groups for their ongoing commitment to the organisation at the annual Institute Director’s Awards.
Ms Baxter said the Institute Director’s Awards, which were presented at Forbes College last night, were recognition for the organisation’s most outstanding staff who had delivered on TAFE Western’s key business principles over the past 12 months.
“This year’s nominations for the Institute Director’s Awards were of the highest quality and it was an extremely difficult process selecting the award winners,” she said.
“Staff at TAFE Western continue to thrive in a rapidly-changing environment and these awards are a small way to thank them for the hard work they put in and their ongoing commitment to our key business principles, which make us the leading provider of education and training solutions in western NSW.”
Individual award winners included: Rachael Buckerfield, Fiona Mackin, Berni Aquilina, Stephen Welsh, Naomi Jawai, Debbie Greenhalgh, Nick Mastrangeli and Simon Fraser.
Tracey Elliott was presented with an Individual and Leadership Award, Connie Ah See also received a Leadership Award, while Karen Forrester, Fiona Westcott and Kerry Evans each picked up Customer Service Awards.
Other award winners included Catherine Dorin (Award for Sustainable Practice), Lithgow Administration Team (Award for Customer Excellence Team) and Achievement by a Team Awards went to EBS Helpdesk, Smart and Skilled Monitoring Group, Vocational Education and Training (VET) Delivery and Dubbo/Broken Hill Construction.
