A small group of Year 12 TVET students have proudly graduated from a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance Course in Orange last week.
The students, who came from Orange High School, James Sheahan Catholic High School and Molong Central School, were presented with certificates recognising their hard work and efforts throughout the course in 2016.
“This course has prepared the students to work in the Aged Care or Acute Care sector while furthering their careers as under graduate registered nurses or enrolled nurses,” TAFE Western Head Teacher Nursing and Health in Orange, Parkes, Forbes and Condobolin Sara Morgan said.
Ms Morgan paid tribute to teacher Vivianna Hamilton, who worked hard to ensure the students produced outstanding results.
Student Phoenix Aguila was presented the TVET Student Excellence Award from TVET Coordinator Karly Quinn-Bartlett for demonstrating consistent enthusiasm, outstanding work ethic and producing excellent academic results.
