Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways remained TAFE Western Wellington College’s most popular course in 2016, Acting Institute Director Adam Bennett announced today.
Mr Bennett said the course was one of the institute’s most in demand because it helped people who required further foundation skills to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.
“There are no entry requirements for this course – it’s perfect for anyone who may have left school without finishing and wants to get a qualification that helps them get into university or obtain a qualification that’s nationally recognised in the workplace,” Mr Bennett said.
“Reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and many more skills are covered in this course.
“The fact that employers trust our training and employ our graduates means this course is a great choice for people looking for exciting employment and education prospects.”
Wellington College’s second most popular course in 2016 was a Certificate III in Business Administration, with Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation also attracting strong interest.
