TAFE Western, in partnership with NSW Health, is offering Diploma of Enrolled Nursing Scholarships for 2015 in Bathurst, Broken Hill, Dubbo and Orange.
The scholarships aim to increase the number of students studying the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing in order to support the growing workforce demands by industry.
Ms Kate Baxter, TAFE Western’s Institute Director said, “The partnership between NSW Health and TAFE Western builds on the existing strong relationship between the two organisations.
“The scholarship program ensures that the successful students are provided with an excellent educational experience, supported by clinical placements within the NSW Health.”
Applications close on Wednesday, 4 February 2015 and Ms Baxter encourages all eligible students to apply for this great opportunity. “The scholarships will cover the Diploma program fees and compulsory learning resources.
“The course takes between 12 and 18 months to complete and once students successfully graduate they will be offered an interview with NSW Health.”
Every day brings new challenges and rewards as an Enrolled Nurse. Duties range from providing physical and emotional support, to the administration of medications and more complex care.
