The 2017 TAFE Western TVET Student of the Year is Certificate III in Accounts Administration student Rowan Jayasuriya.
Rowan demonstrated a strong commitment to both the theory and practical components of his Accounts training while at TAFE.
In the classroom, Rowan was a very disciplined student, a great communicator and was driven to succeed. He remained committed to completing all assessment tasks on time – a hectic schedule having no impact on the high quality work he produced.
Rowan’s teachers say he has a likable personality and a desire to achieve that is infectious. Well done Rowan!
“Rowan’s commitment was very evident in the mature approach he took to his study along with numerous extracurricular activities. Rowan demonstrated a desire to learn and this desire and application will ensure his success in his future endeavours” - Leona Mills.
