TAFE Western is about to launch a new, exciting training program that has the potential to boost the capability of organisations and their staff to perform at a premium level.
TAFE Western Director of Business Capability Unit Brad Polak said Capability Connect provides one day workshops designed to meet the specific needs of each organisation, with the main focus on improving workplace performance.
“TAFE Western is working with the Australian Catholic University Executive Education Program to offer Capability Connect, which we believe will help deliver participants a high quality learning experience that will sharpen their skills and provide benefits for all involved,” Mr Polak said.
“Capability Connect will provide workshops, workplace coaching and mentoring with pathways to management and leadership qualifications which also align with the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework.
“I believe one of the most exciting things is that the range of options for learning are flexible and can be tailored for each individual organisation.”
Mr Polak said one of the main benefits of Capability Connect was the fact that regional organisations could access a premium learning experience locally and at a reasonable price.
“For far too long organisations in western NSW and their staff have been forced to travel to Sydney and other metropolitan centres to spend thousands of dollars to access a service like this,” Mr Polak said.
“Not only will Capability Connect reduce costs and travel times for participants, TAFE Western is proud to bring the absolute highest level of training to our region.”
The first Capability Connect Project Management Workshop will be held on November 6 in Orange, with a Managing People Effectively Workshop coming on November 20.
