Students from TAFE Western Creative Industries will showcase some of their fascinating and inspiring works at a week-long exhibition at the Orange March Street College from November 6.

Creative Industries Teacher Jude Morrell said the exhibition included works from visual arts and, photo imaging students.

“The visual arts works show a combination of specialised technical, creative and conceptual skills with artworks that include drawings, paintings and printmaking,” Ms Morrell said.

“The photo imaging work covers a variety of genres including studio and environmental portraits, night photography and techniques such as ‘painting with light’ and photomontage.”

Director of the Orange Regional Gallery Lisa Loader will officially open the show at 6pm on Friday, November 6. The exhibition will continue the week after from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

“Many works are available for purchase and all are welcome and encouraged to come and help us celebrate a creative year of artmaking by our terrific students,” Ms Morrell said.
