Enrolments are now open for 2012 and TAFE Western is offering more choices in training for individuals and businesses in Mudgee and Dunedoo.
Kate Baxter TAFE Western’s Institute Director said “If you are considering undertaking a qualification at TAFE Western in 2012, you will be able to choose from a wider range of courses available to you in your community, allowing you to stay where you are, but really go places.”
TAFE Western is also is focusing on providing a more flexible enrolment service to its prospective students with a new approach to enrolments for courses offered at the Mudgee and Dunedoo Colleges. Students are able to enrol now and up until classes commence from Monday, 6 February 2012. This is a move away from the traditional enrolment day at the beginning of semester.
Kate Baxter, TAFE Western’s Institute Director believes a longer enrolment period offers greater convenience to students. “In the past students have had to enrol for their course on a particular day” she said. “We’ve responded to feedback and have opened up the enrolment period so that prospective students are now able to enrol at a time that suits them between now and when classes commence from Monday, 6 February 2012 or up until the class is full”.
Kate Baxter encourages students to enrol early to avoid disappointment. “Students should select the course they would like to do as well check they meet the course entry requirements, and that the course study options and locations suit their needs” said Ms Baxter. “Students may like to talk to one of our counsellors or the head teacher before they make a final decision and students should also make sure they are aware of the relevant course fees and payment options before they enrol” she said.
Enrolments for all courses being offered at TAFE Western’s Mudgee and Dunedoo Colleges are now open until classes commence from Monday, 6 February 2012.
Prospective students should Google TAFE Western, call 131 601, find us on facebook, or visit their local campus for further information.
