For the second successive year, TAFE Western Dubbo College’s most popular courses have remained the same, Institute Director Adam Bennett announced today.
Mr Bennett said Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care; Certificate III in Automotive Vocational Preparation; and Certificate I in Aboriginal Language courses again attracted the most interest from students in 2016.
“Strong industry demand in both Early Childhood Education and the Automotive industry is a huge reason why these courses remain so popular in Dubbo,” Mr Bennett said.
“Other reasons include the fact the courses are led by industry experts and the learning is very hands-on, which students really enjoy.Enrolled students appreciate the fact that employers trust our training and employ our graduates, meaning they are a great choice for people looking to undertake training that is nationally recognised and can lead to exciting employment prospects.
“We’re very proud of the interest the Certificate I in Aboriginal Language course has created. It’s a unique course for TAFE Western and it was great to see so many people get more culturally involved in 2016.”
