TAFE Western's Cowra College is offering some exciting new courses starting in 2015 to help local people get up to speed on digital technologies.
What's great is that there are courses to suit a variety of skills and abilities from very basic computing skills right through to more advanced users.
Courses such as 'Computers Made Easy' and 'Understanding your iPad' will suit people just wanting to feel more at ease with these devices. 'Statement of Attainment Digital Literacy e-Citizen' is similar to 'Computers made easy' but is a longer and more in depth course.
If you want to start up and maintain your own basic website 'Introduction to WordPress' is for you.
The Cowra College TAFE has been able to start these new courses with the addition of their new Computing teacher, Jonathan Stucken.
Jonathan has over seven years commercial experience in Sydney as a website developer, having run his own business and from working for one of Sydney's leading website development companies. Jonathan holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Website Development, and has a vast array of experience programming websites for small businesses through to large corporate clients such as Reebok, ANZ Bank, Sydney Roosters and realestate.com.au.
Jonathan says he is excited about starting these new courses here at Cowra TAFE as it combines two of his passions - teaching and computers.
Enrolments for all courses being offered at TAFE Western in 2015 are now open. Prospective students should visit their local college or call 1300 823 393 for further information.
