TAILOR-MADE TRAINING: Hollie Petty puts her skills to the test during a hairdressing course at TAFE Western Orange College.
TAFE Western Orange College’s hairdressing and beauty departments pride themselves on offering specialised and flexible training options to meet the demands of each individual.
Teacher of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy Rebecca Phillips said TAFE Western offers tailor-made training that will ensure students learn important skills that will see them flourish in the workplace.
“Almost gone are the days when employers want their apprentices leaving the workplace for long periods of time for study and learning,” Mrs Phillips said.
“TAFE Western has a unique business model that allows us to offer flexible training options that will suit each individual employer and or apprentice/student.
“The best part about our hairdressing and beauty courses at TAFE Western is we can offer learning options that work for everyone.”
With the end of the year fast approaching, Mrs Phillips said now was the ideal time for people to consider enrolling in one of TAFE Western’s courses for next year.
“Hairdressing and beauty courses are really popular because they are hands-on and highly engaging, giving our students a great head start in the industry,” Mrs Phillips said.
“We are always on the look out for more enrolments. Whether you are someone who wants to start out in one of these industries, or you have experience and just wish to touch up on your skills, we are here to assist with your enquiries.”
Enquiries are welcome Certificate II, III and IV qualifications in hairdressing and various beauty courses ranging from Certificate II to Diploma.
