Back to business at TAFE Western in October

TAFE Western is currently seeking enrolments in a number of exciting second semester business courses due to start in October.

Business Head Teacher Jenelle Frewin said now was the perfect time for people in Orange and surrounds to consider these courses at TAFE Western.

“We have courses ideal for people of all ages and abilities,” she said. “We have courses that suit people looking to kick-start a career in business, or those already involved in the industry that want to boost their careers.”

Ms Frewin said the Business, Business Administration and Business Administration (Medical) courses run over eight weeks and teach participants important skills such as word processing, how to use spreadsheets, how to organise and negotiate meetings, and workplace communications.

“These qualifications are on the NSW Skills List – meaning the NSW Government will subsidise eligible students to undertake these qualifications under Smart and Skilled,” Ms Frewin said.

“We also have a number of fully subsidised short course offerings including Office Environment, Microsoft Office, Business, Medical Pack, Project Management, Quality Auditing and Library, Information and Cultural Services.

“For more information, please visit or phone the TAFE Western Business section on 6391 5703 today to see how we can help you.”
