“Going to TAFE helped me build good customer skills and also prepared me for employment. I really enjoyed TAFE, it gave me a sense of purpose. It’s a great way to get people off the street and can play a huge role in helping out our community.”
On July 31st the first meeting of the Wellington Learning Community Working Party was held and later in the day a Memorandum of Understanding between TAFE and Western College was signed.
“When I started out at Hort Enterprises and TAFE I never expected to get the opportunity to travel all over the world. Now I’ve made it this far, I want to make the most of it and see how far I can go with the ultimate goal to make the Skillaroos team and get to compete in Abu Dhabi.”
