Web conferencing gives students the flexibility of joining classes from any location. Students with good internet access can participate in the scheduled web conferencing classes from home, work, interstate or even overseas.
TAFE Western uses the Adobe Connect web-conference platform. It is free for students to use and only needs a free, downloadable software plugin to run. It will run on a student’s computer or smart mobile device (e.g. iPhone). The only limitation is that a reasonably reliable internet connection is required.
