Apprentices Engineering Fabrication


Apprentices and trainees combine work and structured training for defined period of time. 

This type of training is available to all age groups, full-time or part-time, in a range of qualifications.  Apprenticeships and traineeships can also be undertaken by secondary school students as part of their HSC.


TAFE Western is the region's specialist trade apprenticeship training organisation with over 50 year's experience in trade training.  We currently support over 1000 employers with 2000 apprentices in a range of industries including - engineering, automotive, building trades and electrical, horticulture, hospitality, hair and beauty.

TAFE Western's traineeships are for one or two years and are available as new entrant or existing work options.  Traineeships cover the non-trade areas.
